Strohwein (Chardonnay Barrique)
Strohwein is a very rare Austrian wine of the highest quality level. Produce from selected, fully ripened, hand picked grapes. Air tried on reed mats for a minimum time of 3 months. The raisin-like grapes are pressed and they must ferment under skilled observation of the vintner to yield this sweet, fruity and golden colored Strohwein specialty. Only in suitable years the climate allows the production of this wine. It's dark gold color with amber reflections is characterized by a nose of honey and grape-like hundred per cent natural sweetness. Its outstanding flavor, guarantees an extraordinary taste of experience. Moderately full bodied, highly extracted.
