Ausbruch (sweet wine)

Ausbruch is a rare wine exclusively produced from over-matured grapes naturally shrivelled and affected by noble rot (Botrytis). This noble rot causes a hight content of sugar in grapes when harvested, minimum 27° KMW. Only in suitable years the climate allows the production of this wine. Ausbruch is characterised by the intensive flavour, golden colour with amber reflections and its sweetness. Only selected fully ripe grapes are used for this fine Austrian speciality.
